The ESIC Debate Club addresses the challenge of access to housing.

The ESIC University Debate Club organized a round-table discussion to analyze one of the major challenges currently facing young people: access to housing. The event brought together representatives from various sectors to offer diverse perspectives on a complex issue.

Among the participants were Juan Manuel Giner, Councilor for Housing for the Valencia City Council; Alejandro Silveira, a real estate advisor; and representatives of neighborhood associations.

The activity created a space for dialogue and reflection on the subject of housing, highlighting the value of debate as a tool for comparing perspectives, questioning one’s own ideas, and developing more critical thinking. This initiative by the Debate Club aligns with the Chair’s commitment to establishing spaces that foster analysis and reflection on issues of societal importance.
